Library
The Society maintains a 1200 volume library of books about geography, adventure, travel, and world cultures by members, women explorers, SWG Members and scientists. The archives of the early years are housed in the Library of Congress. The library at headquarters is available to serious researchers. It does not circulate the holdings, but will accept phone queries and visitors are welcomed. Visitors should call for an appointment.

Museum
The gallery at the headquarters maintains exhibits of photography and artifacts of the work of members around the world.
