Imagine having a conversation with Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, or Titanic Survivor Violet Jessop. Or, how about a conversation with Rachel Carson, the woman who launched the environmental movement and served as a past board member of our dear ANS? Leslie Goddard is your woman – and ours! Goddard, an award-winning actress and scholar, gives voice to Carson through an authentically costumed and well-researched portrayal that will keep you riveted to your seat. As entertaining as it is informational, this program brings history to life in a fun, inspiring, and educational way. Wine, cheese and other refreshments served. TIME: Wednesday 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. LOCATION: Woodend Nature Sanctuary, 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20818 Admission: $20
